Long
Island Recording Studio Class Mixes
This page contains links to mixes done while attending the Long Island Recording Studio recording
engineering class. I completed/graduated around the end of
December 2006. During this class, got paired up with a great guy,
Tommy, who'se provided much useful input to mixing, tracking and is on
the way to constructing the Lost Knob Recording Studio. He also
plays with the band Sativa
Gumbo... a very cool jam band out of New Albany, IN/Louisville, KY
The class started around May 2006 and finished around Decemeber 2006
with classes occurring twice a week (Wednesday nights and then most of
Saturday). Probably the "biggest" learning item was how to EQ.
The analog mixes were done use a 1" 24 track tape deck (very fun)
