Long Island Recording Studio Class Mixes

This page contains links to mixes done while attending the Long Island Recording Studio recording engineering class.  I completed/graduated around the end of December 2006.  During this class, got paired up with a great guy, Tommy, who'se provided much useful input to mixing, tracking and is on the way to constructing the Lost Knob Recording Studio.  He also plays with the band Sativa Gumbo... a very cool jam band out of New Albany, IN/Louisville, KY

The class started around May 2006 and finished around Decemeber 2006 with classes occurring twice a week (Wednesday nights and then most of Saturday).  Probably the "biggest" learning item was how to EQ.

The analog mixes were done use a 1" 24 track tape deck (very fun)
ProTools mixes were done mainly with ProTools LE 7.1 on my home system

Projuct #3 - Kiss Me Baby - another analog mix from Tommy and me
Project #4 - Esta Bonita Chica - last analog mix by Tommy and myself
Project #5 - Always - the rest of these mixes are all ProTools based from tracking LIRC had made and were done by myself though typically got listens from Tommy prior to turning in for grading
